James Norman

James “Hoot” H. Norman, age 68, a resident of Shelbyville, has left us to go to heaven on Tuesday April 1, 2025. He was a good husband, father, and son.

Born in May 21, 1956, in Hohenwald, Hoot was the son of the late Cornelius Robert Norman and Margarette Morgan Norman. He married Wendy Ebenstein Norman in 1976 and they had three wonderful sons; Dennis Terry (Judy), Odell Norman (Maria), and Charles Norman. Four of the best grandchildren in the world, Hunter, Skye, Tara, and Alan. He is also survived by many siblings that live in Maury County.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Layton Morgan of Hohenwald and favorite uncle Odell Norman of Mt. Pleasant. .
