Janet S. Brown

Janet “Jan” S. Brown, age 64, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, at her residence.

Jan’s wishes were to be cremated and have no public services. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jan was born on September 27, 1956, in Rome, Georgia and was the daughter of Ruby Jo Shamblin and the late Bob Shamblin. She worked many years at General Trucking and later as an accountant for Haulers Insurance Company. She was a faithful member of West Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she often enjoyed playing the piano.

In addition to her mother, she leaves behind many beloved friends.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Brown on March 29, 2014.
