Janet June Stanfill

Janet June Stanfill, age 83, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at NHC Columbia. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Janet was born on June 6, 1941 in Anna, Illinois, to the late Clifford Coleman and the late Helen Corzine Coleman. 

Janet had a passion for arts and crafts, often creating beautiful wreaths and tending to her flower garden, especially her beloved knockout roses. She enjoyed cooking and was known for making homemade pizza from scratch. A true collector at heart, she loved thrifting and gathering cookbooks. She was an avid Tennessee Titans fan and found joy in cheering them on each season. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family. Her love, warmth, and kindness will be deeply missed. She was of Free Will Baptist faith.

Janet is survived by her son, Joe (Kim) Stanfill, daughter, Willie Jo Chapman, and grandchildren, Ethan Stanfill, Emma Stanfill, Cindy Ferguson, Mary Ferguson, Misty Henson, and Christy Ferguson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Coleman.
