Janice Carol McGill

Janice Carol McGill, age 73, a resident of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. 

Janice was born on February 2, 1951, in Pulaski, Tennessee. She was a 1969 graduate of Bodenham High School and was a devoted military wife of ten years. She dedicated her career to hard work in the factory industry and retail and found joy in sewing, baking, and gardening with a special fondness for her rose bush. Above all, Janice’s greatest love was her family, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon Massey of Pulaski, children, Gelinda Young (Richard) of Brick Church, Stacy McGill (Helga) of Pulaski, Tracy McGill of Pulaski, Belinda McGill of Pulaski, grandchildren, Joshua (Caitlin) Young of Lynnville, Heather Young of Brick Church, Katherine (Kobe) Barnett of Brick Church, Rebecca (Samantha) Young of Brick Church, Lee (Jesse) McGill-Ede of Winston-Salem, Crystal (Trevor) Setser of Leoma, seven great grandchildren, and several special nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lacy Frank Walls, Sr. and the late Ruby Hazel Garner Walls and her brother, Lacy Frank “Frankie” Walls, Jr. 

There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in her name to the Giles County Fire and Rescue, 120 Jimmy Suggs Dr., Pulaski, TN 38478.
