Jeanette C. Rogers

Jeanette C. Rogers, age 84, resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at her residence.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, a private family graveside service will be held at Maury Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on January 7, 1937 in Powder Springs, Georgia, Jeanette was the daughter of the late Carl Alonzo Jordan and the late Lillie Belle Hall Jordan. She enjoyed gardening, especially pulling weeds. She was dearly loved by her family and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Jean (John Michael) Rogers of Columbia, TN; step son: William Dwight (Jenny) Rogers of Georgia; grandchildren: Erik Scott Rogers, Chad Michael (Sarah) Rogers, Kristin (Dyer) Lassiter, Matthew Rogers; and great grandchildren: Otis William Rogers, Hattie June Rogers, Annabelle Lassiter, and Amos Lassiter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John William Rogers on May 9, 2020; and daughter, Connie Eberhart.
