Jeff Copley

Mr. Jeffrey “Jeff” George Copley, age 59, a resident of Copley Lane in the Shady Grove Community, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Stand Cemetery in the Shady Grove Community. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A native of Maury County, Jeff was born on September 28, 1959 and was the son of Mary Elizabeth George Copley and the late George Allen Copley. He was a 1978 graduate of Columbia Central High School and married Pamela Anderson on August 16, 1986. He worked as a purchasing agent for Crosslin Building Supply Company. Jeff enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all, he loved working and making sure he supplied for all of his family’s needs.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters: Sarah Lynn Haskin of Charleston, SC, April Caroline Copley of Duck River, TN; son: Henry Nolan Copley of Duck River, TN; brothers: Wayne (Nava) Copley of Maryland, Jerry Copley of Chattanooga, TN; and grandchildren: Braelynn Haskin, Ryker Haskin, and Kade Copley.

Pallbearers will be: Aaron Hanes, Will McEwen, Joe Sheby, Eddie Crosslin, Alan Duke, and Scott McCune.

Honorary pallbearers will include: the employees of Crosslin Building Supply Company.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Choksi, the staff of Hospice Compassus, and the nurses and staff of Maury Regional Cancer Center for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
