Jesus Cabrera

Jesus N. Cabrera, age 49, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Henryville Methodist Church in Summertown.

He was born on September 15, 1970, in Hollywood, FL, to “Jesus” and Maria Cabrera. He was a high school and college graduate. He married Elizabeth Domiquil on December 05, 2017 in Columbia, TN. He worked at CastleGarde as a Senior Information Security Consultant. He loved his job with a passion, and the people he worked with. Jesus truly lived life to the fullest through different simple pleasures, spending time with friends and family, and especially his dogs. He left behind a family that not only loved him so much but was right next to him every step of the way through thick and thin fighting esophageal cancer. Jesus was given six months to live and refused to give up on himself and his family and fought for his life an additional four years. These last few years were some of the most memorable. He had the opportunity to meet his new 4-month-old grandson over the holidays and spend more time with his 7-year-old grandson. As time goes on, the lives that Jesus has impacted carry the wits bestowed from him through the daily lives of loved ones. He was a loving father and a great friend he loved to have family dinners and bon fires to pass the time. He was big on family, always called his kids to talk and make funny jokes. His life will always be remembered as the loving and funny father and husband he was.

He is survived by his family and friends: Wife, Elizabeth Domiquil; Daughter, Yisel Cabrera; Daughters - in- law, ReJean Cabrera and Ashlee Cabrera; Grandsons, Christopher Cabrera Jr and Dominic Cabrera. Sons, Javier Cabrera and Christopher Cabrera Sr. Best Friend, Zia
