Jewells Rubin Shelden, Jr.

Mr. Jewells Rubin Shelden, Jr., age 69, husband of Wanda Gayle Vaughn Shelden, and a resident of Duck River, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Hampshire First Baptist Church with Pastor Dustin Laster officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 20, 1952, in Hampshire, Tennessee, Jewells was the son of the late Jewells Rubin Shelden and the late Louise Gertrude Kincaid Shelden. He was a member of Hampshire First Baptist Church and worked forty years laying carpet, which he highly enjoyed. He had a special love for his beloved dog, Max.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Tommy (Kelly) Hendrix of North Carolina, daughters, Julie Pinkard of North Carolina, Sandy Skipper of Centerville, TN, sister, Tina (Aaron) Johns of Columbia, TN, eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Shelden.
