Jim Serrett

James Ray Serrett, age 70, resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jim was born August 1, 1951 in Maury County and was the son of the late James Edward Serrett and the late Betty Pearl Pierce Serrett.  He was of the Church of Christ faith.  He worked as a welder and retired from Hughes Parker Tool and Die.  He enjoyed tinkering with cars, building things, and wood working.  His greatest love was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Kim “Sugar” Serrett; children, Dawn (Brian) Bentley, Jennifer (David) Adams, Samantha Johnson, Jeremy (Jennifer) Serrett, Daniel (Ashley) Serrett,  Cody Serrett,  and Chris (Rachel) Serrett; siblings, Wanda (David) Durham, Steve (Donna) Serrett, Vickey (Keith) Hampton; aunt and special sister, Ann Fleeman; seventeen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a bounty of nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jo Linda Serrett.
