Jimmy "Bubba" T. Brooks, Jr. of Columbia, Tennessee

Jimmy Taylor “Bubba” Brooks, Jr., age 34, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday evening, January 20, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

The family will celebrate his life with private services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on April 24, 1985 in Columbia, Bubba was the son of Jimmy T. Brooks, Sr. and the late Dorothy Beard Brooks. He was a 2004 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. Bubba enjoyed watching wrestling and playing video games.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sisters: Kim Brooks (Joey Massey) of Columbia, Jennifer Brooks of Columbia; nephew, Zaebren Noblit; aunts and uncles: Judy (Joe) Green, Jody Soto, Wanda (David) Mercer, Gwendal (Jackie) Roland, Mary Johnson, Michael Ray (Cynthia) Brooks, Paul Steven Brooks, Ricky Nelson Brooks, and Bonnie Brooks.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his niece, Brielle Noblit; and aunts and uncles: Betty Love, Debbie Curry, Odell Beard, and Delores Bradford.
