Jimmy D. Slater

Mr. Jimmy Slater, age 80, a resident of Chapel Hill, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at his residence.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jimmy was born in Maury County, Tennessee and was the son of the late Ezra Slater and the late Pearl Clark Slater. He graduated high school in Michigan and served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed reading.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Slater of Chapel Hill; sons, Dennis (Colleen) Slater of Chapel Hill and Darryl (Kathi) Slater of Shelbyville; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
