Joe Glenn Sanders

Mr. Joe Glenn Sanders, age 53, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 11AM-1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with a graveside following the visitation at Bryant Cemetery in Lewisburg. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 8, 1966 in Columbia, Joe was the son of the late James Sanders, Sr. and the late Martha Scott Dodson. He was a certified electrician and worked many years for Sandrell Heating & Air. Joe was an outdoorsman who was very outgoing and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and was a good father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Sanders of Columbia; stepfather, Jimmy Dodson of Columbia; brother, James Sanders, Jr., of Columbia; sisters: Sheila Duke of Columbia, Pamela Welch of Columbia; grandchildren: Karly Thompson, Khloe Sanders; and nieces: Whitney Duke, Ashley Duke and Kaitlyn McCandless.
