Joe Ward

Mr. Leslie Joe Ward, age 60, a resident of Nunnelly, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.

The family will celebrate his life with private services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.

Joe was born on August 9, 1960 in Nashville, Tennessee and was the son of the late Bradford Ward and the late Nima Jean Hicks Ward. He worked most of his life in carpentry and as a handy man. He enjoyed guns, hunting, and shooting.

He is survived by his brother, Mike (Jill) Ward of Centerville; and two special nephews, Jon Michael Ward and Mason Ward.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Ward and his grandparents who raised him, Noah & Letha Hicks.
