John Michael Morgan

Mr. John Michael Morgan, age 71, husband of Teena Morgan, and a resident of Spring Hill, formerly of the Hampshire community, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Jack Gilchrist officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Love in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Sunday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on November 18, 1947 in Middletown, Ohio, John was the son of the late John William Morgan and the late Mary Ardetto Morgan. He worked forty-four years for General Motors. John enjoyed motorcycles, taking trips to Hawaii, and in his younger years, he often participated in triathlons. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Johnie (Michael) Buchanan of North Carolina, Michael Morgan of California, Andrea Goodwin of Alabama, Micah Morgan of Spring Hill, Casey (Brandon) Crosby of Alabama, Justin (Danielle) Riddle of Columbia; brother: David (Julie) Morgan; sisters: Debbie (Rod) Stouder, Janice (Ed) Sladek, Maryann (Ken) Vincent; grandchildren: Jeremy, Kearstin, Neeley, Evan, Jax, Wyatt, Tate, Olivia, Henry, Caroline; great grandchild: Lexi; and two great grandchildren on the way.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rachael Celia.
