Johnny C Eskew

Johnny C. Eskew, age 84, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Magnolia Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on January 28, 1940, in Maury County, Tennessee, Johnny was the son of the late Dewey Eskew and the late Nora Kobeck Eskew. He was a veteran of the United Sates Navy and dedicated many years of his career as a surveyor for the TVA before retiring. He married Joann Isabell in June of 1962; she preceded him in death in March of 2013. Johnny was a member of the Church of God in Murfreesboro.

He is survived by his son, Johnny (Wendy) Eskew, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant TN, Monica (Wayne) Smith of Culleoka, TN, Brooke Wilson of Murfreesboro, TN, sister, Shirley Coleman of Florida, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremy Harvey, and two brothers.

It was Johnny’s request that there be no public service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
