Jonathan L. Winchester of Columbia, Tennessee

June 4, 1947 - March 2, 2020

Jonathan Lawrence “Larry” Winchester, age 73, passed away on February 2, 2020 at his home in Columbia, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. Winchester and Thelma Church Winchester. He is survived by his brother Keith R. Winchester (Barbara), nephews Riggs and Rob (Ali) and niece Laura Winchester.

Larry graduated from Tennessee State University in 1996 with a Bachelors degree.   He worked for many years as an environmental engineer in several places around the country. He loved travel and the culinary arts. He was a friendly person who will be remembered by friends and family for his quick smile and his kindness.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Bigbyville United Methodist Church, 3894 Bigbybille Road, at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to victims of the March 2, 2020 tornado, or the charity of choice. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
