Joseph Douglas Evans

Joseph Douglas Evans, age 34, a resident of Spring Hill, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A visitation will be held on Sunday July 5, 2020 from 12-2pm at Heritage Funeral Home following with a 2pm service with Bro. Allen Armstrong officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born October 10, 1985 in Nashville, Joe was the son of Carl D. Evans and Terry J. Clifton Evans. Joe had a heart as big as he was. He loved his family and friends and was always going the extra mile to help someone. Joe didn’t know a stranger and always kept everyone laughing.

In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his sister Michelle (Jerod) Patton; brother Justin Evans; nephews Patrick and Jason Evans; niece Serenity Patton; grandmother Joyce Smith; grandfather Glenn (Kim) Evans; and numerous family and friends that loved Joe dearly.

Joe was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmy Clifton; grandmother Peggy Whitehurst; grandfather E. L. Smith

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to any humane society of their choice.
