Joseph “Joe” Anthony Santoro, age 80, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Magnolia Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on November 25, 1941, in Queens, New York, Joe was the son of the late Stacy Santoro and the late Josephine Zuzolo Pylinski. He was an entrepreneur and jack of all trades. He was a master electrician, home builder, and earlier in life owned an appliance store. Joe was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Knights of Columbus. A big part of his life was spending the summers with his entire family at their camp at Plymouth Reservoir in Plymouth, Michigan.
He is survived by his children, Angela (Tom) Beharick, Joseph Anthony (Janice) Santoro, II, Terri-Jane (Steven) Siega, Stacy Joseph (Kim) Santoro, Steven Santoro, Michael Joseph Santoro, sister, Jean Pugliese, grandchildren, Kayla (Jimmy) Trask, Gabrielle Santoro, Anthony (Katie) Santoro, Janie (Rod)Santoro, Julianne (Eric) Hammerle, Emily (John) Santoro, Nick (Logan) Santoro, and great grandchildren, Gabriel Trask, Colton Santoro, Annie Jane Santoro, and Matthew Santoro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stan Santoro and sister, Marie Stalza.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
