Juanita Louise Love Westmoreland

Juanita Louise Love Westmoreland, age 83, a beloved resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, at NHC Columbia.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 2, 1939, in Maury County, Juanita was the daughter of the late Toppy Love and the late Kathrine Taylor Love. Juanita's creativity shone through her various talents; she was a skilled professional cake decorator and florist, finding joy in arts and crafts, sewing, and crocheting. Alongside her roles as a homemaker, she previously worked for Hancock Fabrics and A-Z Flowers. She was a devoted member of West 7th Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Joe (Dee) Westmoreland, grandchildren, Jessica (Pateon) Parker, Kelsey Westmoreland, Cheyenne Westmoreland, great grandchildren, Serenity Westmoreland, Adalind Parker, brothers and sisters in law, Jean Westmoreland, Brenda (Jerry) Brown, Mary Jo Abernathy, Jimmy Derryberry, and nieces and nephews, Rhonda (Mark) Delk, Delana (Kevin) White, Chad (Leslie Ann) Westmoreland, Stephanie (Jason) Durham, Callie (Tim) Wilkins, Justin Brown, Richard Love, Brian (Heather) Love, Sherry (Steve) Carroll, Oop Baker, and many great nieces and nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by David Westmoreland, son, Kent Westmoreland, brother, Larry Love, nephews, Brent Westmoreland, Greg Cunningham, brothers and sisters in law, Don Westmoreland, Nancy Derryberry, Steve Westmoreland, and Brenda Westmoreland, father and mother in law, Joe & Zula Westmoreland, and sister in law, Francis Love.

Those proudly serving as pallbearers will be the elders of West 7th Street Church of Christ: Bill Alsup, Tom Anderson, Steve Cofer, John Corn, Marty DeJarnette, Wade Denney, Mike Kesler, John Law, Sonny Lee, John Simmons, John Smith, and Jeff White. Honorary pallbearers will include Jimmy Derryberry, Chad Westmoreland, Jerry Brown, Justin Brown, Mark Delk, Kevin White, Jason Durham, Tim Wilkins, Richard Love, Brian Love, Jackie White, Johnny White, and family and friends.
