Judith Ellen Holmes

Judith Ellen Briggs Holmes, 75, resident of Linden, Tennessee, passed away May 2, 2019 at Perry Community Hospital. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born on March 3, 1944 in Ravanna, Missouri, Judith was the daughter of the late Mr. Cecil Briggs and Mrs. Martha Thompson Briggs, while Mr. Briggs was serving in the Army in WWII in Germany.

Judith was united in marriage to Mr. Donald Holmes on July 21, 1962 and had three children. Ms. Holmes retired from Driv-Lok located in Sycamore, Illinois in 2010.

Ms. Holmes is preceded in death by her father, mother, her two sisters: Dorothy and Hellen; brother: John and son-in-law: Sean Fontaine.

Ms. Holmes is survived by her children: Terri Fontaine; Kimberly Isham and Gregory Holmes; fer son-in-law: Delbert Isham; five grandchildren: Misty Simpson, Brett Fontaine, Brian Fontaine, Samantha Isham, and William Isham; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
