Judy Mccaleb

Mrs. Judy A. Thurman McCaleb, age 68, a resident of Iron Bridge Road in Columbia, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at her residence.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 6-8PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on June 13, 1950 in Maury County, Judy was the daughter of the late Foster Thurman and the late Jean Reeves Thurman. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High and was married to Terry McCaleb. At an early age, she began working as a cashier for Kroger when it was located next to the post office in Columbia. She eventually worked her way up to frontend manager. Judy loved traveling and going to the beach with her husband. She especially loved her beloved Shih Tzu, Molly.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Tim McCaleb of Columbia, Jason (Dawn) McCaleb of Columbia; grandchildren: Casyn McCaleb, Makenzi McCaleb, Brent McCaleb; and great grandchildren: Jacob and Ira Lestourgeon.
