Judy Carol Rowland

Judy Carol Rowland, age 77, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday morning, January 6, 2024, at NHC Columbia.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on June 28, 1946, in Memphis, Tennessee, Judy was the daughter of the late Emmett Fleming and the late Eutha Maxwell Fleming. Her interests included watching soap operas, solving word searches, gardening, working jigsaw puzzles, drinking coffee, and relaxing in her comfy clothes. Above all, she was a wonderful grandmother and caretaker to all cherished grandchildren.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Barry (Wendy) Rowland of Chapel Hill, TN, daughter, Shiela Blanchard of Columbia, TN, sisters, Anne Sage of Memphis, TN, Linda (Howard) Roy of Lakeland, TN, grandchildren, Chase (Lexie) Blanchard, Chelsea Blanchard, Josh Rowland, and Jonathon (Rem) Murry; and great grandchild, Shiloh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bubba Fleming, sister, Nadine Owens, and great granddaughter, Everleigh Blanchard.

Pallbearers will be Barry Rowland, Chase Blanchard, Josh Rowland, Jonathon Murry, Eric McCandless, and Caleb Lovett.
