Justin Mainord

Justin Mainord, age 39, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on May 31, 1981, in Nashville, Justin was the son of Donald Mainord and the late Pamela Jean Dawes. He was the owner of American Concrete and has been working in the concrete business since he was eleven years old. He was an outdoors man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and farming cows. He had a great sense of humor and always liked to have a good time.

He is survived by his daughters: Brooklin Mainord, Dixie Mainord, Raelynn Mainord; sisters: Tracy (Lauren) LaPorte, Shana Goodwin, grandson on the way, baby Daniel; the mother of his children, Kelly Mainord; and best friend, Joe Forshee.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Margaret Mainord; and grandmother, Hazel Mainord.

Pallbearers will be: Joe Forshee, Brad Sturdivant, Scott Mainord, Clark Daniel, Barry Connor, and Tim Grizzard.
