Karen Lynn McMillan, sunrise August 25, 1969 – sunset October 22, 2023. She fought a courageous battle with cancer until the very end.
Karen was born in Pontiac, Michigan to parents, Herman Wikle and the late Bernice “Bunny” Kay Graves Wikle. She was married for twenty-five years and in love for twenty-eight years to Christopher Michael McMillan. She had three cherished daughters, Amanda, Ashley, and Abbie. Karen had a great sense of humor, was very social, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Michael) Wise, Ashley (Zachary) Stephens, Abbie (Mike) James, sisters, Kimberly (James) Pulley, Kari Balkwell, Kendra (Brad) Sanker, and grandchildren, Joshua Wise, Brooklyn Wise, Robert Stephens, Paxton Stephens, Kaylynn Roland, Korbin Roland, and Eva Bowman.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Wikle, grandparents, Matilda “Tillie” and James Wikle and Mildred “Millie” and Edward Graves and grandson, Payton Roland.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Christian Chapel, 1020 Thompson Road, Unionville, TN 37180, with Dustin Clark officiating. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the church. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
