Kathryn Lee Morrow

Kathryn Lee Morrow, age 97, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Life Care Center.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Brian Gregory officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Morrow Cemetery in Hampshire. A visitation will also be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on January 24, 1927, in the Shady Grove Community of Hickman County, Kathryn was the daughter of the late James Welsey Morrow and the late Sue Elizabeth Delk Morrow. She was a 1945 graduate of Hampshire Unit School and earned her bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 1949. Kathryn was the head dietician for Parkview Hospital in Nashville for over twenty years. After retiring, she moved to Tavares, Florida where she resided for several years before returning to Columbia. Kathryn enjoyed flowers and bird watching and was a member of Highland Church of Christ.

She is survived by her sisters in law, Betty Morrow of Columbia and Pame Moore Morrow of Cross Bridges, nieces and nephews, Susan (Wayne) Clendenen, Kenny (Andrea) Morrow, Jan Morrow Neal (Buddy Speakman), Melanie (Robert) Gibson, Dana (Bubba) Bennett, Steve Morrow, Penny Rink, Mitzi (Jim) Ball, Tracy (Randy) Rinks, Mark (Craig) Morrow, Stan (Kim) Morrow, special cousin, Micki Poling (Rob Wright), and numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Kenneth Morrow, Bill Morrow, Wayne Morrow, sister in law, Barbara Morrow, and special aunt, Carolyn Hayes.

Pallbearers will be Matt Clendenen, Mark Morrow, Steve Morrow, Stan Morrow, Reed Poling, and Michael Wiss. Honorary pallbearers will include Larry & Melinda Delk, Greg Hayes, and Kenny Morrow.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to special care givers, Jay Harmon, Pame Moore Morrow, Micki Poling, and Meagan Burdette for their care and compassion for Kathyrn during this difficult time.
