Kathy Favors Beck

Kathy Favors Beck, age 62, wife of Tim Beck, and a resident of Polo Fields Lane in Columbia, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Entombment will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. She will take her final ride to her final resting place in the Heritage Funeral Home Harley Davidson motorcycle hearse. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 4, 1956 in Wayne County, Michigan, Kathy was the daughter of James Ray Favors and the late Joyce Darlene Marken White. She retired from Kroger for 40 years, most recently at on Port Royal, where she worked as a florist. She enjoyed going on walks and loved traveling, especially taking cruises and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle with her loving husband.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her daughters: Christina Clark of Ohio and Michele Hein of Nashville; son: Josh Beck of Ohio; grandchildren: Tyler Daugherty and Tiffany Sullivan; siblings: Marcia (Bill) Smothermon of Summertown, Glenda (Paul) Bradner of Ohio, Janet (Steve) Martindale of Culleoka, Kevin (Julie) White of Michigan; sister in law: Karen (Jeff) Chambers of Kentucky; nieces and nephews: Phillip, Jason, Danielle, Jennifer, James, Kelsea, Garret, Kyley, Kaydence, Damon, Matthew, Meagan, Madison; step father and step mother: Paul & Cindy White of Michigan; very special friend: Trish Gick; and many other special friends; and their fur babies Shih Tzus: Lizzy and Mattie.

Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Favors.
