Kathy Lynn Potts

Kathy Lynn Potts, age 57, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 11 th at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.  The family will visit with friends on Monday, May 10 th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kathy was born July 15, 1963 in Maury Couty and was the daughter of the late Addis Potts and the late Dorothy Lewis Potts.  She was a graduate of Central High School and worked as a Nurse at Maury Regional Medical Center, Vanderbilt Medical Center, and as a traveling nurse.  Kathy had a servant’s heart with a passion for taking care of her patients. She loved to cook.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Potts of Summertown; sons, Nicholas Potts and Landon Potts, both of Columbia; brother, Wendell Potts of Columbia, and sister, Patsy Stewart of Columbia.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Foster; and nephew, Gary Tosland.

Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
