Sandra Kay Curtis Ragsdale, age 67, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3 rd at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating.  Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens, located adjacent to the funeral home.  The family will visit with friends on Monday from 12 noon until the 2PM service hour at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kay was born in Maury County and was the daughter of the late Robert Maynon Curtis and the late Lillion Jospehine Haywood.  She attended Mt. Pleasant school and was of the Baptist faith.  She worked for 23years and retired from Maury Regional Hospital.  She truely loved being a homemaker, starting her day off by drinking coffee and then on to cleaning her house, cooking, and working in her flowers. She had a special love for her dog, Baby Girl. She also enjoyed listening to George Jones and watching westerns with Larry.

She is survived by her loving husband:  Larry Wayne Ragsdale of Culleoka; sons: David (Beverly) Ragsdale of Williamsport and Danny (Teresa) Ragsdale of Culleoka; sisters: Donna Stills of Columbia, Margarete Keltner of Summertown, and Dora Mae Bolton of Columbia; brothers: William Ray Curtis and Jimmy Allen Curtis, both of Murfreesboro; grandchildren: Larry David Ragsdale of Williamsport, Cindi Jae Ragsdale of Franklin, Kelsey Ragsdale of Columbia, Mercedes Estes of Lewisburg, and Blake Estes of Tullahoma; great grandchildren: Jaylee Hope Cantrell and Kennedy Goats, both of Franklin; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bennie Curtis; and mother in law, Mildred Ragsdale.

Pallbearers will be James Ray Bolten, Billy Bolton, David Ragsdale, Danny Ragsdale, Mark Hardy, and Charles Nash.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caretakers, Stacy Potts and Rick Hickman.
