Kevin Walsh

Mr. Kevin Scott Walsh, age 63, husband of Jackie Walsh, beloved father of John and James Walsh, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Chalice Church (6111 Cayce Lane, Columbia, TN 38401) with Pastor Darryl Martin officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 11, 1956 in Manhattan, New York, Kevin was the son of the late John Doyle, Sr. and the late Anne Fuchs Doyle. Above all, Kevin’s passion in life was his work in ministry as a pastor. He planted a church in Mesquite, Nevada where he pastored for ten years and was also a pastor in Las Vegas, Nevada and Lewisburg, Tennessee. He was an avid runner and deeply devoted and committed to his family. He was a bus driver for nearly twelve years for the Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, John Walsh and James Walsh both of Columbia, TN; brother, John (Stephanie) Doyle of Birmingham, AL; sister, Jean Walsh of Ossining, NY; and beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle and cousins.
