Kimberly Brightwell of Hazel Green, Alabama

Kimberly Lou Brightwell, age 56, a resident of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away Tuesday evening, August 10, 2021, at Countryside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lawrenceburg.

At this time, the family has chosen to have no public service. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kim was born on October 12, 1964, in White Sands, New Mexico and was the daughter of Mona Reed McDonald and the late Julian McDonald. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather, Bill Bland, son, Christopher Brightwell, daughter, Ashleigh Yokum, sisters, Kathy Troupe, Karree Hayes, Krystle Newby, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Evan J. Brightwell, son, Dakota, and sister, Keena Taylor.
