LaKetra Shonta Harvell was born on October 20, 1975, in Columbia, Tennessee. She was called home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James R. Frierson, Jr. and Gladys Louise Harvell Neal, sister, Tamiko Harvell, brother, Zachery McGuire, and niece, Adacia Harvell.

LaKetra leaves behind her loving daughter, Carlesta Harvell, three grandchildren, Lamarius Jones, JaSeanti Jones, and Courtney “Ne Ne” Lewis, sisters, Jamie Booker, Tina McGloffin, Natalie Hudspeth, Rene Miles, Lisa Jones, Cynthia Frierson, Tori Frierson, and Erica McGuire, brothers, Gabriel McGuire, James Booker, Benton Frierson, Blake Frierson, Johnny Jones, and James McGoffin. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, along with her best friends, Cherry Grandberry and Vanessa (Bonnie) Franklin, Stacy Harris, and Linda Pillow.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Miracle Temple of Deliverance, 1215 East End Street, Columbia, TN 38401. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
