Larry Gene Brown, Sr.

Larry Gene Brown, Sr. age 62, resident of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday September 9, 2018 at 2 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 – 2 PM.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 4, 1955 in Maury County, Larry was the son of Homer Brown and the late Annie Mae Collins Brown. He worked on the Petty Rasbury Century Farm for over 20 years.  Larry loved fishing with his wife Doris and deer hunting. He had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party.  Larry was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife Doris Ashworth Brown of Columbia; son: Larry (Casey) Brown of Springhill; brother: Homer Brown Jr. of Summertown; sister: Ann (Pee Wee) Bolton of Summertown; grandchildren: Joshua Brown, Logan Styers, Alyssa Brown and Grace Brown; and lifelong friends: Craig & Susan Rasbury – D’Apolito.
