Larry Ray Foster of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee

September 17, 1954 - January 24, 2024

Larry Ray Foster, age 69, a lifelong resident of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 24, 2024, at Tennessee Valley Healthcare VA Hospital in Nashville.

It was Larry’s wish that there be no public service. He will be laid to rest in Spencer Hill Cemetery at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on September 17, 1954, in Columbia, and raised in the Screamer Community of Mt. Pleasant, Larry was the son of the late Clyde Foster and the late Dena Thomason Foster. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a Sergeant. He was a jack of all trades having worked several different jobs throughout his life. Larry was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.

He is survived by his children, Diana (Chris) Rooker of Lynnville, TN, Kimberly Foster of Mt. Pleasant, TN, brother, Michael (Judy) Foster of Mt. Pleasant, TN, sister, Freda Swan of Mt. Pleasant, TN, grandchildren, Kelsey Rooker (Justin McQueen), Caleb Rooker, Kayley Rooker, great grandchild, Ryleigh McQueen, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Thomason.
