Laura Gale King of Duck River, Tennessee

Laura Gale King, age 71, a resident of Duck River, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2023, at her residence.

Born on January 30, 1952, in Maury County, Laura was the daughter of the late Herbert Stewart and the late Elvie Patterson Stewart.  On December 17, 1983, she united in marriage to James King.  Laura dedicated several years of her life to Weather Tamer with hard work and commitment.

Laura will be remembered as an incredibly strong woman, a loving wife, and a devoted mother. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of those around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially the beauty of flowers and the warmth of the sun. Laura's dislike for cold weather was well-known, and she sought comfort in the embrace of the sun's rays.

She is survived by her husband, James King, her daughter, Jamie King of Duck River, and sister, Rita Smith of Columbia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Stewart, and sisters, Mary Ann Hardison, Anita Slick, and Linda McCord.
