March 10, 1958 - April 29, 2019

Lauri Ann Halas, age 61, resident of Mount Pleasant, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 11 at Newbury Park First Christian Church in Newbury Park, CA. Heritage Funeral Home of Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born March 10, 1958 in Montebello, CA, daughter of Arl and Jean Adragna Williamson of Yucca Valley, CA. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her Lord, her family, especially her grandbabies, and every member of her community. Lauri has impacted countless lives with her radiating joy because of the relationship she shared with God. It was a blessing to those in church to see her raise her Holy Hands in praise to her First Love, Jesus.

In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory, her husband: Steve Halas of Mount Pleasant; daughters: Stacie Halas of San Angelo, TX, Tawny Halas of Kailua-Kona, HI, Teri (Tyler) Reynolds of Santa Barbara, CA, Torrie (Greg) Anderson of Spring Hill, TN; sisters: Kristy (Russell) Autry of Cathedral City, CA and Marie (Steve) Bloch of Big Bear, CA; brother: Curt (Julie) Williamson of Spring Hill, TN; grandchildren: Charlie Treloar, Zoey Anderson, Brooklyn Anderson and Rylee Anderson.

The building of the Family Life Center at Newbury Park First Christian Church had a huge impact on the Halas family so it would be a great honor to Lauri that in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the “Continuing His Vision” Program at Newbury Park First Christian Church located at 801 Knollwood Dr, Newbury Park, CA.
