Linda Kay Benefield

Linda Kay Benefield, age 74, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 26, 2024, at her residence, after an extended illness. She was a native of Arkansas, a retired seamstress, and of the Christian faith.

She was born on September 2, 1949, to Bertie and Jonnie Tidwell Benefield. In her spare time, she loved doing crafts, sewing, listening to music, gardening, shopping around town, and spending time with her family.

Other than both of her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Jane Benefield, two brothers, Danny Benefield and Michael Benefield, niece, Kimberly Fox, and nephew, Seth Comer.

She is survived by her sisters, Brenda Davis of Canada, Cindy Mashburn, Debbie Benefield, Judy Luna, and Shelia Daley all of Lawrenceburg, nieces, Hollie Bottoms, Nandy Hughes, Aimee Benefield, and Shanna Daley, special niece in love, Bridgett Lindsey, and nephews, Tim Fox, Brent Bradley, Brian Bradley, Ben Bradley, Evan Benefield, Marty Mashburn, Eric Luna, and Kyle Comer. She is also survived by nine great nephews, four great nieces, two great great nephews, and two great great nieces.

Per her wishes, the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 2174. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family.
