Linda Fay Peden

Mrs. Linda Fay Peden, age 65, wife of Bruce Peden, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Thursday from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Linda was born on July 29, 1957, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late John Wakham and the late Mamie Stevens. She was a 1975 graduate of Marshall County High School. She married Bruce Peden in 1994 and worked for Regions Bank in Columbia for many years and later worked several years in classified advertising at the Daily Herald before retiring. She was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, John Mahlon (Rebecca) Peden of Nashville, brothers, Joe (Sandy) Wakham of Lewisburg, Steve Wakham of Lewisburg, sister, Sally (Mike) Woodard of Lincoln County, twin sister, Brenda (Eugene) Pullen of Lewisburg, and brother in law, Stephen Peden of Spring Hill. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Wakham.
