Linda Gail Jones

Linda Gail Paul Jones, age 75, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at her residence.

Linda was born on November 10, 1948, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, to the late Warren Charles Paul and the late Gertrude May Bellefeuille Paul. In 1972, she married Richard Jones, and they shared many years together in Florida until his passing in 2017. In 2018, Linda moved to Columbia, Tennessee, to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren.

Linda found great pleasure in cooking, baking, and making holidays special for her family. She also cherished the moments spent watching movies with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories. Linda had a special place in her heart for her beloved Goldendoodle, Maggie, who was her constant companion and source of happiness. Recently, Linda rededicated her life to the Lord and became a born-again Christian, finding comfort and strength in her faith.

Linda is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer (James) Rock; stepson, Mark Jones; brothers, Dennis Paul and Allen Paul; grandchildren, Aidan, Breanna, Addison, Keegan, Evan, Delaney, and Carrigan Rock; and step-grandchildren, Megan, Nicholas, and Madison Jones.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jones, and her sister, Carolyn Rahilly.
