Linda King Mckinney

Mrs. Linda King McKinney, age 73, beloved wife of Larry McKinney and a resident of Centerville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born on December 16, 1949, in Hickman County, Tennessee, Linda was the daughter of the late Jessie Elijah King and the late Tommie Phillips King. She married Larry McKinney on February 19, 1993. Linda dedicated a decade of service to the State of Tennessee in the Department of Revenue. For twelve years, she and Larry showcased their talents as jewelry makers, participating as vendors at flea markets and the Hickman County Arts & Crafts Guild. Linda found joy in working in her flower garden and cherished moments spent fishing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Tara (Bill) Holmes of Spring Hill, TN, Sandy McKinney of Spring Hill, TN, brother, Barry King, sisters, Melissa McCord, Lori Carrigan, grandchildren, Destiny (Daniel) Williams, Elizabeth Holmes, great grandchildren, Oliver Monroe and Parker Williams, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy King.

The family will celebrate her life with a service at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
