Lou Ellen Miller

Lou Ellen Miller, age 60, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 3PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Derek Hunter officiating. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 1-3PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on May 16, 1959 in Columbia, Lou Ellen was the daughter of the late Jack Davis and the late Mary Oliver Davis. She was a very hardworking and strong-willed woman who enjoyed being at home, watching Lifetime and spending time with her family. She was a feisty and outspoken person who also enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by her daughters: Melissa (Derek) Gray of Mt. Pleasant, Denise Salerno (Robert Pierce) of Columbia, Rebecca Sanders of Columbia; sisters: Gloria Ann (Tommy) Hendrix of Columbia, Sherry Bates of Columbia, Tammy Davis of Columbia, Jennifer Wiseman (W.C. Brown) of Columbia; sister in law: Kim Davis of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren: Trevor Webb (Chelsea Hafner), Brianna Messina, Kenzie Gray, Frankie Messina, Maci Gray, Taylor Fortune (Demondre Hardison), Carter Salerno, Bellamy Salerno, Spencer Salerno, Khloe Sanders, Karly Thompson; and great grandchildren: Easton Hardison and Kash Hardison.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Dennis Davis and Mike Davis; and grandson: Gavin Salerno.
