Born on August 18, 1968, in Greenville, Mississippi, Louis was the son of the late Louis Peter LaBella, Sr. and the late Mary Catherine Sabbatini LaBella. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Delta State University and was the Executive Vice President at Delek where he was President of Refining. Louis married Melinda Antici on June 16, 1990, and together they had two children, Nikolas and Olivia. He had deep faith in God and was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.

Louis was a jack of all trades who could cook, build, and do anything he put his mind to, and always gave 100% towards everything he did. A true outdoorsman, he often enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a devoted husband and father and the ultimate family man who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Nikolas LaBella of Louisville, Kentucky, daughter, Olivia LaBella of Birmingham, Alabama, and sisters, Angela L. (John) Durland of Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee and Gina LaBella-Tulin (Tim) of Noblesville, Indiana.

Honorary pallbearers will include Nikolas LaBella and the Nikolas LaBella and Exodus 90 Battle Ready Fraternity.
