Lucy Mae Turek Rempas of Columbia, Tennessee

October 22, 1946 - September 7, 2019

Lucy Mae Turek Rempas, born October 22, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois transitioned into her Heavenly Garden on Saturday evening, September 7, 2019, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

Lucy Mae was deeply loved by her son, Zachary Rempas, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family. Lucy Mae was preceded in death by her father Anton Turek, mother Marie Seitz Turek, and siblings: Richard Turek, Mary Ann Turek Latsaras and Eugene Turek. On May 22, 1971, Lucy married Christ W. Rempas; he preceded her in death. Other survivors in addition to Zachary include, her children, Anthony Rempas and Crystal Rempas Gligorovic.

Lucy’s passions were horses, motorcycles, traveling, dancing, fishing and gardening. Lucy Mae loved all animals. She was a caring, generous, loving and compassionate woman who graced us all with her humor, tenacity and kind spirit. Lucy was friendly and accepting of all people she came in contact with.

In lieu of donations or flowers, Lucy Mae has requested that contributions in her honor be made to the Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee 615-754-5617.
