Marcia Joan Cox of Columbia, Tennessee

June 12, 1937 - February 23, 2020

Marcia Cox, age 82, resident of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service for Mrs. Cox will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with their services.

Born June 12, 1937 in Kalamazoo, MI, she was the daughter of the late Anson Lobretto and the late Lola Lobretto and the wife of the late Marvin Cox, who preceded her in death in 2016. She was a homemaker who loved the outdoors, being in her flower garden, reading, working puzzles and shopping. She was a loving kind person and on the go all the time. She dearly loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her pet dog, “Little Man”.

She is survived by her son: Kevin Cox; grandchildren: Shawna (Matthew) Guttowsky, Brandi Jennette, Jeramie (Kimberly) Short, Holly Short and Ivorie Cox; great grandchildren: Patrick and Andrew Guttowsky, Breanna and Blaine Jennette, Leyton Brumit, Dayton and Haley Short. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Robin Stanfill.
