Marilyn Monroe Ragsdale Riley, age 66, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Born on February 17, 1959, in Columbia, Tennessee, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Annie Bell Ragsdale. She worked as a dump truck driver before transitioning to a career as a caregiver, a role she embraced until becoming disabled. Marilyn found joy in simple pleasures, such as playing games on her phone, enjoying card games, and dining out with loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter, Starlett (Steven Culberson) Ragsdale, brothers, Zorro Ragsdale, Shane Maxwell, Gary Ragsdale, sisters, Sherry Haynes, Helen Anderson, and grandchild, Onyx Ragsdale.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Riley and brothers, Paul Ragsdale and Isom Baker.
