Marty Mashburn

Marty Mashburn, age 38, a resident of Summertown, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at his residence. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Marty was born on December 3, 1986, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, to Larry Eugene Mashburn and Cynthia Benefield Mashburn. He was employed at General Motors and was known by many as DJ McFly, enjoying several years as a DJ. He loved spending time playing Fortnite with his son and friends and shared a special bond with his dogs, Uke and Petey. Above all, Marty cherished his children, Acelin and Anndilynn, who were his pride and joy.

He is survived by his father, Larry Eugene Mashburn, mother, Cynthia Benefield Mashburn, son, Acelin Mashburn, daughter, Anndilynn Mashburn, sister, Amanda Clair Mashburn, and aunts, Judy Luna and Sheila Daily.
