Mary Stansbury

Mrs. Mary Jane Stansbury, age 82, a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at her residence. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on March 9, 1943, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee Mary was the daughter of the late Leburn and Annie Harris. She married her best friend and love of her life Melvin Stansbury and together they celebrated sixty years of marriage. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mary enjoyed crafting and crocheting, going to casinos, bowling, and her fur babies. Mary will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Richard Stansbury, Gerald (Sharon) Stansbury, Darren Stansbury, Todd Stansbury, daughter, Kim (Justin) Minick, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Victory, Tom Victory, Frank Victory, and sister, Jean Bucy.
