Nathan Andrew "Andy" Smith of Chapel Hill, Tennessee

November 4, 1953 - August 27, 2019

Mr. Nathan Andrew “Andy” Smith, age 65, husband of Linda Sandage Smith and a resident of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, previously of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Hoover, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Stevenson of Columbia First United Methodist Church officiating. The family will be available for visitors prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Born on November 4, 1953 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Andy was the son of the late James Harold Smith and the late Vesta Louise Montgomery Smith.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Tyler (Morgan) Smith and Lucas (Brittanie) Smith; brother, Kelly (Debbie) Smith; sister, Sarah David; grandchildren, Graham, Nora, Madison, Mary Payton, and Maggie Smith; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James “Jimmy” Smith, and sister, Sue Cox.
