Melba Moreno

Melba Moreno, age 87, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at her residence.

Melba was born on April 4, 1933 in the country of Colombia and was the mother to Horacio Pelaez and the late Jose Pelaez. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Spring Hill. Melba was an avid teacher of the Bible truths for many years. She loved to cook and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Horacio (Claudia) Pelaez; grandchildren: Isaac (Jenny) Pelaez, Joan (Elisa) Pelaez, Vanessa (Mauricio) Caceres, Nathalia Pelaez, Jose David Pelaez, Esteven Pelaez; and great grandchildren: Sebastian Pelaez, Oliver Pelaez, Natalia Pelaez, Yohan Pelaez, Liliana Pelaez, Valentina Caceres, and Mia Caceres.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jose Pelaez.
