Norman Charles Feustel, Jr., age 73, a resident of Flatwoods, Tennessee, passed away on April 22, 2024 in Perry County, Tennessee.
Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on April 2, 1951, in East Meadow, New York, Norman was the son of the late Norman Charles Feustel, Sr. and the late Dorothy Lee Stewart Feustel.
Norman dedicated many years to his work as a supervisor at Long Island Cremation. He was of the Methodist faith. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he received his Purple Heart and several other medals. Norman was a lifetime member of Am Vets, Veterans of Foreign Wars and National Rifle Association. He was a man of very few words who never hesitated to say “No!” He was a proud man with a very big heart who truly enjoyed his solitude.
Norman is survived by his son, Derek (Jennifer) Feustel of Linden; daughter, Norisa (Dwight) Arnold of Santa Fe; brother, Frank; sisters, Ellie, Glenda, Brenda and Dorothy; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Norman Feustel, III.; brother, Clifford; and sisters, Gwenda and Carol.
