Norman Kirkland

Norman Uriah Kirkland, 82, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Norman was born on June 27, 1942, in Dothan, Alabama, the son of the late Carsie Loyd Kirkland and the late Lena Music Kirkland. He was of the Christian faith and found joy in his work. His career journey began as a young boy running a grocery store, followed by employment at a meat packing company, and later as a truck driver. Norman was devoted to caring for his family throughout his life.

He is survived by his son, Mark (Marianne) Kirkland of Tampa, FL; daughter, Kim (Al) Williams of Tampa, FL; stepson, Allen (Ann) Fagan of Columbia, TN; and grandchildren, Aaron Fagan, Chance Fagan, Adam Williams, and Trevor Williams.
Norman was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby Kirkland.
